Outdoor Therapy Application

Outdoor therapy is a non-clinical approach that uses outdoor activities to support overall mental and physical wellness. It is believed to provide lasting, positive benefits for veterans, active-duty military personnel, and first responders facing mental health challenges. Through activities like fly fishing, equine therapy, and hiking, participants gain a sense of community, purpose, and healing outside of traditional clinical settings.

Some of the potential benefits of outdoor therapy include:

Stress relief

Improved perspective

Increased confidence

Enhanced
physical health

Fellowship and
peer support

Introduction to healthy coping mechanisms

Distance from negative coping habits
